Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) is one of Sweden's most important postwar designers. His ceramics and pottery speak to the playful design of the 1950's. Truly mid-century modern, his work is iconic. He created many lines for the Gustavsberg pottery factory for most of his career and became art director in 1949. His work is creative and whimsical with beautiful forms and color.
