Awhile back, I took at 4 part series on CreativeBug given by Lisa Congdon. Sketchbook Explorations was a great tool for me. It helped me loosen up and also, well, sketch. The entire series is a little over an hour long and each part covers a different way of creating in your sketchbook. Using watercolor, collage, brush pens and other mixed media, she guides you through 4 different exercises, I've always been that person who buys a pretty book and then is afraid to mess up the pages so they stay blank. This series gives you an almost fool-proof way to practice and create some beautiful pieces. It's also seriously therapeutic! Here are a few pieces that I did while taking the series. Also, here is a link for a 14-day Free Trial for CreativeBug. Enjoy!
